Ambiance: The Restaurant is a deli with a "cafe" in the front of the Store.  There is a old bar that is quite charming and very unique, made from old lumber, shutters, etc.  There are two tables out in front on the sidewalk for outside dining.  The seating area is quite small but very inviting.

Service: Our service was great.  We were able to choose where we wanted to sit and our waitress came right away to take our orders.  She talked about the restaurant, our choices of the daily specials, and took our orders promptly.

Food: Our food was good.  It was served very HOT, and included Rye Bread, Cole Slaw, Marconi salad and our Beer battered fish.  Although I am sure the rye bread was fresh, it was very dry.  My guess would be that the package was open allowing the air to dry it out.  The salads were homemade and very good.  The cole slaw appeared to be chopped in a food processor and was very fine.  I enjoyed it, my husband would have preferred to have it chopped a little less fine.  Our Fish was very hot, not very large and the batter did not taste like beer batter.  It tasted more like a plain batter and was a bit boring to me.

Beers on tap: Southern Tier IPA, Flying Bison, Raspberry Wheat

Recommendation:  3 1/2 Fins
